Life Will Give You What You Ask!

For my 1st post, I want to give you something. It's a poem called My Wage written by Jessie B. Rittenhouse. Through it, I desire to leave you with words that will dramatically change your life for the better.

My Wage

I bargained with Life for a penny,
And Life would pay no more,
However I begged at evening
When I counted my scanty store;

For Life is a just employer,
He gives you what you ask,
But once you have set the wages,
Why, you must bear the task.

I worked for a menial’s hire,
Only to learn, dismayed,
That any wage I had asked of Life,
Life would have willingly paid.

by Jessie B. Rittenhouse

I came across this poem about a week ago, and it really touched me. Sometimes in life, we do not always ask for what we really want but settle for what we think that we can have. So, wouldn't now be the best time to ask and transform your life? Wouldn't now be the best time to trust and believe that whatever you desire that you can obtain? Start now and make a list of your needs and wants. Write them down on a piece of paper and start to feel the joy experienced from receiving your heart's desires. I encourage you to do this until you receive the things that you have asked for on that paper.

Remember, you can get whatever you ask. Don't limit nor short-change yourself. All you have to do is ask and believe that you will receive it!

Thank you for visiting my blog!
